en route to haiti: detroit to miami

hellomiami
View of Miami around 9:30 this morning. We left at about 2:30 a.m. to drive to Detroit for a 7:00 a.m. flight; tomorrow morning we depart on a 5 a.m. shuttle to make our 9:40 a.m. flight, since evidently the airport on a Monday morning is insane.

There've been a few travel headaches thus far. When we got to Miami, we had to find a way to transport 750 lbs. of luggage (we're bringing supplies to the orphanage)
Here's Ciera having a rest as we tried to figure out where we were staying, and how exactly we were going to get there.

Since most of us had been running since yesterday morning and there seemed to be no sleep in sight, wires started crossing. At this point, we are at last, at last, at a hotel and have all had naps. There was also, to my exultation, coffee involved.
