haiti, chaos, beauty

Whenever we traveled anywhere I played with street photography and was constantly struck by the raw humanity of Port Au Prince and beyond. I met someone on a neighboring rooftop who argued with me that Haiti was not beautiful, but I couldn't concede the discussion politely.

To me, it was a jungle of color and rubble and hard loveliness. It was raucous and gritty and fascinating and struggling and brimming over, I couldn't get enough of it...
