dancers pre-performance

Shot a Unified Holiday celebration on campus for CM-Life, and was bored by the roomful of people eating food and watching movies, so I followed the dancers who were performing for it. Tried to shoot for layers, and they almost work. What do you think?

A November leaf is rent through by the elements, highlighted by a strobe from behind and a softbox to the diagonal front of it.

Reshot a Painting with Light portrait for JRN 420. Arik is lit from the right with a strobe from below and the left from a strobe from higher up, both gelled with yellow folders. A 30 second exposure and an LED flashlight make for the cross around him.
